Both Louise Richardson and Karyn Whelan are Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA) Accredited Lymphoedema Physiotherapists, ensuring best practice care for our patients.

Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioners undertake significant post graduate training and continuing education in their field. Both Louise and Karyn offer their knowledge and experience, in a caring and warm environment.

Lymphoedema treatments may involve (if indicated):

• Education about lymphoedema;
• Performing Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and teaching you to perform MLD to self manage;
• Measurement for and prescription of compression garments;
• Multilayered compression bandaging for complex cases;
• Exercise prescription;
• Pneumatic compression pump;
• Monitoring as required.
